The exhibition opening on September 3 is expected to be a highlight of the autumn programme, linking with the community’s current interest in environmental issues.
Artists who have submitted entries have found ingenious ways to re-use materials, especially melted plastic, to create many new objects. An intriguing aspect of the exhibition is the range of materials deployed: sculptures from dishwashing sponges, vinyl records melted to an organic shape, food cans converted in spectacular fashion (by established artist Helga Prosser) to a metre-high figure.
Reworked 2 also sees many artists choose to make clothing items from paper, denim or packaging. An entire outfit has been made from used cassette ribbon by a Bristol based artist. One of the most intricate submissions was a dress sewn together from 10,000 clothes labels.

Thank you for the sensible critique. Me & my neighbour were preparing to do some research about that. We got a good book on that matter from our local library and most books where not as influensive as your information. I am very glad to see such information which I was searching for a long time. This made very glad.
Thanks
