Tanalised wood such as MDF, plywood, blockboard etc contain toxic substances and should not be burnt, but most of them can be recycled back into chipboard.
Sell or donate: Good quality wood is always useful, and can be re-sold. Some community schemes now have wood re-use facilities and local group, RESaREC, use waste wood.
