There are approximately 80 scrapstores in the UK, though they are more commonly known as ‘resource centres.’ They are a treasure trove for schools, playgroups, artists, etc. They collect all kinds of pre and post industrial offcuts from factories. – wood, plastic, fabric and paper. They even take part used tins of paint, glues and solvents.
One such resource centre locally is Play Right.
