You are invited to the showing of Age of Stupid on Wednesday February 3rd at Pontardawe Arts Centre. There are two showings at 2pm and 7.30pm. Tickets may be reserved from the box office on 01792 863722 and are priced at £3/£1.50 concessions.
The evening showing will start with an introduction to the issues by a speaker, Rhodri Thomas, from Cynnal Cymru/Sustain Wales and then we have a 10-minute ‘climate change comedy’ called Eco Worriers, which features the stars from Satellite City and was filmed in the local area.
Age of Stupid will follow. This film has been developed by a small group of film makers who believe that everybody needs to hear about what will happen to our climate if we do not urgently respond to the climate change crisis. More information about the film can be found at www.ageofstupid.com
After the Age of Stupid, we will have experts on stage to lead a discussion on the issues and answer questions from the audience. Or you may prefer to retire to the bar for a drink and free local welshcake!

This is indeed a great awakening show that everybody must see and wonder about it. Not only wonder but i want to say that people should start reacting to it, because we are already in very bad condition. We are already starting to see the adverse effects of climate change in this planet due to our own ill-mannered activities of degrading the environment. Such films should be promoted nation-wise and also internationally.
